It's estimated that there are only about 5000 mountain lions roaming California, in search of their main food source--deer. They are such stealthy hunters, you'd be lucky to see one. Richard Perrelli tells about hearing and seeing one in the Sequoia National Forest on the public radio show Weekend America.
